No west coast rides on the Freeride Tour Map?

I was wondering the same, there should be some west coast spots on the tour. I would go one state out of the way, but not 10 states, thats just crazy, with the money I would spend to get back east I would have been able to buy another ski.

Somebody should set up a Mexico Ride... Kinda like the Mexrager, but during mid summer. I know some peeps in SanDiego that would go.

I would LOVE to go to the west coast for a freeride event. Only problem is like Ox said, it would cost way to much. But if it were in the winter when us Jersey guys are down for 4 months, we may just make that happen lol.

SOMEONE HAS TO ORGANIZE IT. Put it together, and people will come and it will be on the freeride tour.

As of right now, there aren't really any rides other than Mexrager, or are there?

I belive Ross is trying to set something up for the next Oceanside event. These is a lot of red tape to deal with. Permits, insurance..... I know Ross puts a lot of time into this, there are too many up tight people in local goverment offices!

The only realistic place we can have a freeride stop is in Pismo, which we have done the past 2 years. Jetskiing in the surf is pretty much illegal everywhere else.

I could see a winter trip, like February where a caravan heads that way, catches the Texas ride on the way back.

I would go out west in Winter!! Pismo would be killer! Someone set it up as just a freeride where everyone is invited without a competition and I'm there. I'm not afraid to drive.

Just for the record, there is currently nothing planned for any events.

I looked in to some stuff a while ago, but there is no event planned.

It might be a little late to get one going this year.. its as good as July now and also Pismo has gone on in Aug. in the past.. but if someone can come up with a date or something in july-late july I'm game !! Remember most will need more than a two week notice..

I havn't heard much about O-Side (oct 14th-15th) at all.. My last e-mails have just covered dates but no locations were known..
I think they are still trying to work out something..

Hmm. :hmmm: Seems like there is still no freeride this year on the west coast:question: Even the Mexrager hasn't been put on the X-H20 map though someone said it would be :scratchchin: I guess you have to be "in the know" or get an invitation to ride the surf with someone else on the west coast.

There WILL be a Mex Rager this year !! Im not sure of the dates but its down to two Oct. 13th,14th, 15th orrrrrrr Oct. 20th, 21st, 22nd..
