I'm going to 5200 in the plumbing tonight and lay glass on the sculpted sides of the tray. Tomorrow I'll reinforce the sides of the hull in the tray area and then after that I can install the exhaust plumbing, superman handhold and then footholds. Wow...that's a bunch of work to do in a short time.

get a lot of beer

Here's a doctored photo just to show that I am progressing and it's getting really close. I've got pretty much all of the parts either here or on the way. Turf starts tonight and then I have lots of bolting and final fitting to do. The photo doesn't show the graphics scheme and it doesn't show that the paint has some color changing pearl flake. It looks pretty cool in the sun. I'll go back after I'm done and do a clean and organized writeup of the work I've done.

Holy Crap :hail: You are the man Garrett! I cannot believe what you were able to do with that hull. I never saw this thread until now, my jaw hit the keyboard when I saw the "doctored" pic. Congrats on the win.
Bri

BTW- If I find another square hull to send to you, would you mind building it and sending it back?

I'll be doing the full writeup soon. I didn't take the best pictures of the finished product and I was waiting on Ronny to get his pics up. Thanks for the hull Bri. You had disappeared by the time I had everything done or I would have sent you pics. Maybe I'll start today on the writeup. I'm past due.

btw. This was an awesome experience for me, but I will never never never do it again. It is one of those things that is fun to do once, or maybe do it more than once with a team, but it is just too consuming of my time and money to do again.

Hey Garrett, as everyone else has said, your the man. Hope you don't do like I did after a simular ski boat project, I didn't want anyone to touch it or get it dirty. I couldn't never have fun worrying about it, so I sold it. Anyway, maybe I'll get to see the ski one day. Great Job!!
