I know all about the drive though CANADA. I used to work a bunch for my uncles in Vermont. Even lived there for 12 months. I would work all day here or there...leave at 4 in the morning to make it to the detroit border before all the traffic...then all the way through. Before i bought a turbo mazda with four wheel steering i could go all the way from kzoo to buffalo without stopping for gas. now i must fill up every 250 miles with premium.:crazy:

yes I fit as many 2liters as possible in the entire tray area. its good to be back.

Im getting there slow and steady. wish I had more time. between work and all my other projects its slow goin.

But anyway got it turfed and started bolting things up. Finally got every part I need.... I think. We will see when I start putting it all togeter.

I have customized a few things because of the unique hull design. had to lower the front of the hood because of the lower pole mount area. I also had to think of a new way to hold the hood in place since there wasnt a place for the hood hooks. Looked like this for a while:thinking: but heres what I did....

and for looks:naughty: its a shortened hull too but I wont have a trim on if for a while yet. I dont think I have the power or skill to be doing flatwater backies yet. Surf... is a completly different story

sooo its been a while since I posted. Im still waiting for my carbs to get back from jetworks and I need to set my timing curve on the total loss. I should also have my new hooker impeller tomorrow:arms: I never thought this build would take so long but waiting on parts has taken FOREVER. everything should be here by the end of this week and I cant wait!:fingersx:

dont worry DJ, Id sell my soul (if I had one to sell) to have this thing running in perfect condition by the rock n ride!!!

Lou, I have to go to wave rave this year(im still getting yelled at for not going last year) so I will see you there. I plan on hitting ALL the rides for the rest of the year.

UPDATE: my carbs will be here this week and art gave me a pretty good idea what my timing curve is going to be!!! o and I have my impeller, and the pump is already taken apart.
