here are a couple of crappy pics from my digicam.....
the first one is butti......now, this is only about LITERALLY 30 seconds into the ride......
he forgot to fill up with fuel
(not the first time this has happened, so if you ever ride with him it would be in your best interest to remind him first...)
2nd is wab...
3rd is just a gen pic of the conditions...this was taken at matanzas inlet (notice the surfers getting ready to go out...they were waiting for the tide to back down a little so the waves wrent crashing directly on the rocks.....
i sliced the shat out of my finger sat night which kept me from riding...

ya'll timed that one just right. caught in on the one and only day worth riding. swell has all but died 12 hrs later.

the low down: we arrived at the beach around 9am to see what I would call EPIC conditions..... a solid 8ft swell on the outside head high on the first break, breaking top to bottom and pealing... I had the best surf rides of my life, no doubt... Ted and I took off on the same wave going opposite directions and I swear it was a 10fter... I came so close to getting tubed... by far the closest ever... I looked up and could see the wave directly above me about throwing... I almost peed myself, I was sooo stoked... It was just one after another of perfect waves... Unreal!!!!

it was a pure sex day.I wish we had all been down there with you,it lookes a bit cleaner on that beach break,Most all the st aug crew were out at villano,best day ever to skip work.We had 7 blasters and 2 sj all docked to the pontoon,75 yrds off shore on the south side,they say it gets better there,but it was a epic clean sj day,timed just perfectly the day before I gotta head back to Ga. I have a ton of sick hel cam footage,it will be up at wavejunkies.com soon.
