i have a polished riva griddal head with the 3 mounts on top. the domes arent removable. ive been using it for about 3 years with no problems at 185 psi on a ported cylinder and its the head im currently using on my ski that you can see in my custom of the month thread. i would trade this head...

just paint the entire engine. no matching necessary. thats what i do anyway. tape off nuts-n-studs and go at it. ill usually hit it with some engine clear coat afterwards. it looks like youre hiding something on the engine now. would i buy it? sure! whats your paypal address. you got $50 coming...
heres my theory....
if the cause of the seizure is a stuck bendix, he would at least see it 'trying' to move when he turned the coupler left and right.
the bendix is in that position because the starter pushed it against a seized engine. the engine wont spin to let it retract. ill bet if he...
also, i wouldnt recommend turning the engine all the way one direction then hitting the starter to let it spool up 7/8 of a turn then lock up again. thats a good way to bust a hole through the crank case if your rod is f'ed up.
