Thanks for all the replies so far. It looks that C is quite popular here and it does look like the most universal cart. I'm leaning towards a hybrid of A & B with a bit of C thrown in. Out of the material I have I think I could make a cart that will look like A with the bend in the rear...

What do they look like ?? I'm searching for a nice (read inexpensive) cart.

I have the tyres and an axle at the shop. Yes, there is more cutting to be done. I already started on the upper part and since it's all aluminum I can file the welds to where you wont know a thing. The removed rungs will make up the axle supports.

C- would be the toughest to make out of what I have although I do like the design. The only problem I see would be the size, since it all has to fit on my single trailer this could be an issue. I'm sure I could make it work but would need to continue the materials hunt. I think a winch might...

OK, what if anything makes it better than the others ? Not trying to bust balls, just want to know. BTW, No matter which one I do I will be putting a winch on it.

P.S. This is what I have so far. The oxygen tanks are only there to simulate the wheels. A- B-

The thing I HATE about my dealer is that no matter what part I need they have to order it. They use not just any order system, they first make a list of items to order and only when the list is long enough do they actually place the order. That is really helpful when you are first on the list...

I found a heat gun useful when installing my footholds. Those suckers didn't line up at all. Some heat and a bit of tension overnight helped.

FL, get those pictures up ASAP ! Have Sawzall, will cut. I don't mind at all if this hood ends up in the trash, they sell for almost nothing. It's time for something different, maybe a new hood will keep the round nose riders from picking on us.:biggrin:
