Take the on or reserve fuel line (which ever doesn't have the primer on it)that runs from the tank to the selector and pull it off the selector. Now take the fuel line that runs from the selector to the carb and pull it off the carb. Take that first line that runs from the tank to selector...

yes it could as the primer bypasses the carb with it's fuel delivery. Before you go nuts, pull out the primer and run the line from the tank straight into the carb. You'll have the majority of potential problems bypassed. Run the ski and see what happens.

Where does your primer pick up fuel ? Before the filter or after ? When was the last time you changed your filter ? If you aren't sure if the filter is flowing, rip it out and run a piece of pipe in its place. If that solves the problem than get a new filter ASAP. There's a screen...
