That stuff stuck to the wall is aluminum from the piston that rubbed itself onto the cylinder wall. That can be cleaned off. If you look at the top of the port there is a visible portion of the sleeve missing. That's the chunk I was talking about.

That "mysterious stuff on wall" is piston matter. That happened when the rings got snagged on the exhaust port and she done blewed up. That's a nice size chunk missing from the sleeve.:bigeyes: Not only is that cylinder welded but it also has a bite taking out of the sleeve. If it was me...

Today I went through all my crap and noticed that I have enough parts to put together a Frankenstein. After I get my "Chucky" motor built I might have to assemble me a Fronkensteen. :biggthumpup:

After riding a friends square with a 701 and some goodies I want to paint my square brown. That motor of mine is a turd.

Mine crapped out after 4 months but it is useful. Now I'm trying to get a replacement but they only sell them in the kits.

A while ago I used a paint stripper in a spray can called "Aircraft Remover" on a set of carbs. Worked in seconds.

How about Shareaza or a torrent site ?
