Have the cap rigged on the inside.
It's easier to keep it in the ski than on you and not a big hassle to screw in. Just pop the hood, reach in and you are golden.
This is what I ended up putting into my square.
-From the bilge side I have a 2" threaded fitting where I can screw in a PVC cap for when I want the scupper tube sealed off(never had the need as yet)
-Right by the bulk head is a Lowes one way valve.

I glued in a piece of aluminum in the front using 5200 and held it in place with some clamps. I also glued 2 small pieces in the back.
After the 5200 cured I placed the tray down and glassed.
Foam came last.
Worked good for me.
My ski has a name tag, there's a little Boris sticker on the pole and I have one on my helmet.
(that was taken Sat morning when my bendix decided to play dead)
Next time name tags are a must.

Our camera fogged up and most of the pictures came out blurry.
