The way I see it there is an upside to running oil injection.
If the pump gives out, the linkage fails or a line pops off you have a chance that the top end will seize before any crank damage occurs.
So what's the upside you may ask ?

Picked up a trailer just like that one back in the summer with new hubs, wheels, tires, almost new lights and wiring for $350.
Also got a Supreme for $150 but that needed lights and new bearings.
