just trying to get an idea of how much interest there is out there for aftermarket squarenose hoods since NOBODY makes them anymore (to my knowledge).
they would be the SN equivilant of a RN hood (CF handholds, breathe from the rear, lightweight etc.)
if there was a solid-as-can-be, premade...
supertune is right. the difference in weight is obvious just by holding one of each type in each hand, as i found out today. i couldnt believe the difference in the two.
darin, im using 600x800 and firefox and everything is okay here. the little linkywindow is staying put on the left.
it just seems like kind of a waste to have 1/5 of the screen dedicated to 9 links.
isnt it possible to have mulitple rows of links at the top instead of a single wide link bar...
wax, before i had a tight xmetal pole setup on my SJ, i rode some other skis with them and didnt like em either. it takes some getting used to, but once youve become accustomed to it, a springed pole just seems so floppy and useless.
im doing this mod on a SN hood for my wifes 90 sj now.
so far, ive:
cut out the liner
filled in the top breather 'vents'
cut the little dip on the top where you put your fingers to remove the hood and filled
this has taken about 2 hours so far.
if i have time today, im going to:
cut out 2...
you would like to see it as in you dont think it can be done?
or you would simply just like to see it?
i see no reason for it not to happen. you can put a 750 in a js hull and the 800 is based on the same platform (i believe).
getting the pump to properly handle the water will be an issue...
ill never buy a blowsion product again either. there are better products out there and for much cheaper.
what do you expect? the company name starts with "blows".
they do some spiffy paintjobs though.
