    i dont think a winch is necessary for a standup in typical situations. 1' width on the bunks is ideal.

    you can use a thicker in the epoxy instead of 5200, no problem. it wont hurt to reinforce the entire tray, but to compensate for the material you removed, id go across the tray about 2" in front of and in back of the holds and up into the corners a bit as well.

    those holds are made for SJ's but theyll work with your 650. do as everyone is saying, but then after its 5200'ed and riveted, feather out what ever ridge you have thats flying above the curve and then lay your glass over it. dont forget to lay biaxial from one hold all the way across the tray...
