The 650 SN will be a big improvement over your 650 Sx. We sold our highly modded 650sx and bought a 650 SN for about the same price even with some nice mods like footholds, intake grate, and prop. You should be able to get a 701 later for around $700 - $800. Good luck.

I've got a 61x 701 on the bench right now. the first picture is the cases just in front of the starter. The second two pictures are on the intake side of the cylinder in the middle just behind the carb. They all say 61x

I took an old brake lever off a mountain bike that already had the hole for the bolt to go through and then drilled a small hole for the cable adjuster to thread into. The bracket is bolted to the upper right bolt for the reduction nozzle.

I used silicone on both ends.

I went to Performancebicycle.com online and bought a brake cable from a tandem bike. The cable fit through the factory bilge fitting into the pump cavity. I used a quality mountain bike lever that bolted right onto the bars. You don't need a spring because the water flow straightens it out...

Ahhh.... I see the problem now.... The Epic Scupper has magnets that pull it shut... It might work. You should PM "freestyle 650" and ask if he thinks it would work.

I use an Epic Scupper... In order for it to fit you need to angle cut the pipe and in my case I made it fit flush with a heat gun.

Your problem is the missing tubes that direct the water to your bilges. That's why the hood has the tubes. With an open filter FA you will ingest water.

Random bogs are possibly water in the fuel. Check you water separator in your tank vent line to see if it's full. Once it fills it will let water into your tank.

Two inch diameter hole for water to drain out quickly. Much faster than bilge pumps.

Charge the battery before every ride. You may have a total loss ignition in your ski ( they don't have charging coils, that's why they're called total loss).
