I agree with speedfreak you purchased a used motor and got a used motor with no warranty you gambled and it didn’t work out for you so quit crying and suck it up no one is at blame here. We purchased a used SJ and had to debug it even put a new pump in it but we new it was used from the start...

How do you know the screw is over your water injection hole? If they were drilled a degree off there would be no adjustment. I see this being the problem with these screws getting installed. IMO Mark44
