Set the carb screws to FP settings. Go to the screws ON THE PIPE... middle closed. Top 3/4 turn out. Bottom 1/2 turn out. Ride it..... turn the top screw in 1/8th of a turn and ride it. Keep doing this over and over again until it hits where you want it.

Actually, the top end is a bit higher with the pipe, depending how you tune it. Also, the low end is better, and that snappiness is harder on the crank. Basically, he is saying if you make it faster, it is harder on the crank. His mods don't make it as fast, is what he is saying in a round...

Turn it upside down and make sure the case bolt are all in there...
