I can do a full lap of my lake (not that large) doing a fountain. Just keep an eye on the air intakes on the hood, once they start to spend more time below water than above, it's time to ride out and let the scupper work. It sucks that I'm so good at such a lame trick.

I would be looking for a different hull. Something more solid as a base would be well worth the $100 a SN hull costs.

Have you checked the pump ? Remove the pump and see of the motor turn over by hand. If you can't turn it by hand than the starter won't help. Maybe you have a swollen ware ring or worse so get the thing turning over before you condemn any more parts.

You can reuse your SN pole bracket, you will need to grind the pole a bit on the bottom and you will need a few fender washers as spacers. The turn plates are just about the same on squares and the round noses so you can reuse yours, get one with the RN pole or pick up an aftermarket one...

If you are planing to have some motor work done over the winter than start talking to your engine builder (or who ever will be doing the porting) on carb setups. I love my dual 46's that Chucky uses on X-Scream motors. They work perfect for my setup and would never change a thing.

If you ever need to replace your handle pole don't even bother with the aluminum poles made for the square. They look like an abortion, are too wide, suck with shorter turn plates and cost too much. Look for a stock RN pole and you are all set.
