Had to run a deto pitted head once that I cleaned up. Had no issues at all but my head looked mint compared to yours.
How much is a stock head anyway ?
Yes, I run one.
You will have a hard time getting the hoses on because the RN box has bigger outlet and inlet pipes but it's do-able.
If you want to run a dual exhaust with the RN box than it will be a bit tight but again is do-able.
Some builders actually prefer inexpensive TC-W3 dino oil over overpriced synthetic stuff.
These motors are bullet proof so why waste money on some expensive oil ?
If your jetting is right the motor will remain clean no matter what you pour into it.
Footholds, hood straps yes.
Shorter turn plate, if you need it than go for it.
Mod your hood while you are doing the footholds, reduces the amount of water that gets into the bilge and you can save quite a few pounds.
Spend the rest of your RN budget on fuel and have a blast.
If you are going to go for a full aftermarket hull than get a RN style one.
I don't see a point in paying all the extra cash for just a different looking nose that the stock RN offers.
Spend your cash on a killer driveline and mods that will make your day of riding more fun. Mod the stock...
Hail Satan indeed.
Wavedemon, how does that small visor work out at keeping the sun out of your eyes and what size helmet is that ?
I'm looking at one of those but it's hard ordering one without having one on my melon. Wish someplace local had them in stock.
