Thanks bro... The wide angle go pro makes everything seem smaller and further way... so it looks cleaner on video. But, all in all they were still some of the cleanest lake waves I've ever ridden. I'm still workin on backies, but the bail was an attempted flare roll that got away from me...

Well, by the time we got out late in the day the waves had subsided from 11' + to 4 - 6 footers. Still a lot of fun. The local news crew came out and got some footage while they were covering the wicked weather we had. We also got some GoPro video to come later. Here's some quick pics for now.

I only reinforced the sides (like doing the engine bay). I used blocks of poly and cut/shaped them to fit really tight. It took me a while to do that.

Yes always wear a helmet. But the reason you are smacking your face is likely because you are not getting enough amplitude to make it all the way around. Put on a helmet, work on your set up wake, and hit it harder/faster to get more pop.
