Really? I think it works great if you have the correct motor. I definately dont care for it with a modded 701. Our Diamond has a big bore and i LOVE it. I think with the bigger motor enables it to be alittle more out of control like the pre 08 models.

Thanks Frosty im tired of riding Eric's electrical nightmare broke down SJ that has every color of the rain bow lol

Sorry no update lately been to busy with school starting

Long block is completely assembled
Electrical box was assembled today by Dj "thanks bro!"
Hopefully after school today we can sit the motor in and install the handle pole!

Keep in mind this is my first ski build and i am realizing there is a lot more parts than i realized!

ok.
I know these threads are no fun with out pics. I will have some up tomorrow night. Every thing has came together in the last 2 weeks. The motor and the pole are in. Had to run around town for some gaskets Wam did not have in stock. I currenly have every thing in except the throttle cable that i ordered from riva last week. The only peices not bolted on and hooked up are the chin pad, chamber, gas tank, fuel lines, cooling lines, hood hooks, nose peice and hood seal. Kinda a long list but is all little stuff. I hooked the battery up and the motor turns over and has spark! Im going in the shop tomorrow to finish building my carbon chamber after school, so satruday should be D day! Im super excited to get his build done. It's now been seven months in the making!

HAHA i have been too busy riding to post pics! The ski ran great at the lake. Then me and Munkie got the bright idea of going in the ocean after work on monday. The ski took some under rotated rolls, and some complete ones. What did it in is when i did a nose stab and hit bottom. Instantly the 2 used motor mounts that i put in snapped in half. Couplers, coupler covers, 2 motor mounts and a drive shaft were declared dead on site. Thanks to Jeffski and Wam i am ready to ride this weekend. if there is one thing i learned from this experience is dont be cheap and skip corners. If i listened to Wam and Munkie and put 4 NEW motor mounts in, this all could have been avoided.

too late its already back together....o yea btw your jettin was almost perfect, but wam told him to run a 85gm spring instead of the 95 one

There is no 85g spring, as far as I know. Was it an 80g?

a drive shaft were declared dead on site.

What happened to the drive shaft? Did the splines strip?

Fl is not like Cali. It's almost impossible not to hit bottom here. On the bright side our water is 75 degrees and we do not have great white sharks.

Yes it is a 80 gram spring. The jetting was super weird because im running oem 44's. I heard these are usually trickey to jet.

The drive shaft bent! I do not know how. The mid shaft is perfect. Has any one had this happen?
