i think i might have my goofy/regular stance confused... i ride left foot forward (roll right) - am I goofy or regular? Because I thought right foot forward was goofy foot. n. "Goofy Foot" is one of the oldest terms still current in surfing jargon. It describes a right foot forward...

personally, i don't think it matters. i don't think it plays any real factor in roll direction. most of the guys i see rolling, roll left... i roll right because it's more comfy for me. next time out i might try rolling left to see how it feels.

dang bro, that sucks. The bottoms of these feel more like a sneaker, and seem to have better grip ability than my asics wrestling shoes. but I'll let ya know after my next ride.

wow, that's crazy. I would think that, if rolling in surf stance, regular foot forward would be easier to roll right and goofy foot to roll left. That way you are front side rolling vs backside rolling.

paid $65 on amazon... i cannot believe how light they are but how much they feel like a comfy sneaker. They even have the internal elastic band over the arch of the foot like my skateboard sneakers do. The material feels like they will dry fast too. and the thicker soles should make...

just got these in today... can't wait to rock them out on my next ride. They are soooo comfy it's amazing! The tongue padding will surely feel awesome in the footholds. They feel like a lightweight version of my vans or etnies that I wear daily.
