I run a 3/8" ID line to the stinger, but have an old 2.0 seat (from a carb needle & seat) stuck in there next to the tee fitting. It lets in just enough water to keep it quiet, while keeping good off-idle response. Yes, I read that back on the ~other~ sire back when.:cool2:

That would be the other alternative - mill down the dome seating surfaces .015 inch or so to clean up the surface & get it "true" to the bottom of the head and, in the same setup, mill the head bottom surface & outer o-ring groove the same distance. That way you could use off the shelf domes...

After having similar troubles w/an R&D head (including dome cracking) I bought a new ADA & haven't had those problems anymore...... Not cheap, but if you can sell your current head to someone w/access to a milling machine you can recoup most of the expense.:sneaky:

Don't remember the number, it's (2 months old) 1.5 N&S, I think black springs. The silver didn't make as much power with the older porting.

It has the momentary hesiation, then runs great, whether it's 5 seconds or 60. I richened it up , a little and a 1/4 turn, and it didn't help the hesitation, just took away some snap after the hesitation range.

I'm at the end of my current tuning skills & need some help. Since Paul (Magoos) reworked the porting on my former RIVA pump gas cylinder for more low end I've been slowly fine tuning the jetting and limited B-pipe water injection screws. Now I have it so it rips hard from just off idle cleanly...

Is the MSD "better" than the Wax ignition for freestyle? More power, reliability, cost?
