only a b1 driveshaft will work. i think older square midshafts work as well, but not 100% on the midshafts.

i got this one 8694K87 10.00 for 25 ft. it was around 15.00 shipped

actually it was an old switch from an old blaster. i have a few kits laying around. when i pulled the sheathing on the one wire it was black all the way up. so i am sure it got corroded somehow.

i got the one from mcmaster carr for the 10.00 it is enough to do 2 boats. so far it is working fine.

thanks mouth that worked, i tested it with another switch i had and it lit up fine. the one i spent 2 hrs fishing thru the handlepole and wiring up all pretty and water tight was f'in sheet. well at least there is tomorrow. thanks again for the help guys.

you lost me, how do i by pass the switch. this switch is only on or off push button. it is not the middle off and left on or right on. you know the sealed military switch.

well that makes sense , but i am using the sealed switch. the black one with the long lead. so how do i test this one

charlie i did put a fuse on it as well. what do you mean connect the 2 wires together. how does that check the switch. how do you check a switch by itself, if possible. thanks for the help

took one of my old bilge kits put it in the new sj. wired white switch wire to brown bilge. black switch wire to battery + and black bilge wire to baterry -. does not work. tested bilge before installing worked fine. how do i test the switch and did i wire wrong. electrical is not...

i do appreacite it mike, the more i keep posting the more it goes up top.

don't use a helicoil use a time cert. they are stainless and will last much better. the head should still be good.
