that was not the problem, it ended up being the starter was draining to much juice i think.. once i replaced the starter it let the cdi spark again. we will see, the maiden voyage of this boat will be at myrtle beach, that is if the surf is going. otherwise i will race the ss boat.
nah some crap about the cost of materials going up, especially the sleeves.
i am still waiting for my new one. i am going to run it this time with kawi flattops. cheaper and more reliable.
if your coming down from 20' or doing a cutback on a wave and you are trying to stand on the side of the rails you are not going to make it anyway:biggrin:
i did that on one of my old blasters, cut out the rear bond rail on each side.
it flow more smoothly thru the turns. it makes the bond rail into one big sponson.
jet trim has the best pre cut pattern, but you have to ask for it. i don't have any good pics of it. but it covers the inside and top of the rails and they also cover the sides under the seat. it is on my race boat.
if you put it on the side rails it will create a great deal of drag.
anybody coming from lansing MI to myrtle beach or lake norman that can bring down a blaster hull. or maybe someone heading to lanier and i can find it a ride home from there back to florida.
