agree and disagree. if the equipment is wearing through over a season or two from lots of wear and rubbing ok, but if you are having seams come out and such just from wear within a couple monthes, thats bad quality. running shoes are replaced because the cushioning simply breaks down, not...

i still love the reinforce from the outside idea, think of all the work it saves ya. no removing the motor, no pain in the ass grinding and sanding inside the hull. add some colored pigment and you dont even need to paint afterwards! :cheer:

my distance apart is 6 3/4in, that is line to line with my pole bushings. from the top of the plate to the center of the holes is 2 3/8. that gives my pole maybe an 1/8 of clearance from the plate. sounds like you work in a shop so i'm sure you realize the dimensions could vary due to pole...

this is different, not talking about pigment, talking about an additive to protect the epoxy from UV so it doesnt discolor, us composites has a bunch of pigment that has worked great for me as well so i called us composites about the resin, they said even with the addative it will still...

i'd call magoo and ask his advice, i've never heard the 90-93 44 mikuni was any different than the 94-95 (701 SJ). Could go to a yami parts finder and see if the number is any different.

pole and pump cone before pipe? if he's got a pole that works, why not wait and get the pipe now. much more for preformance. you can always cut a stocker down. little stuff like the pump cone is easy to get and will help a little, but save for the big items; holds, pipe, & prop that will...

i believe typically impros recommends a 3mm cutback, if doing a 5mm, you might want to send your pump in to make sure theres proper clearance.

they had the west systems additive, anyone know if this fine to use in the uscomposites brand epoxy or should i call em?
