interesting way to go about re enforcing the pole bracket area... is it just me, or is there one missing bolt hole for the mid shaft?

i could be wrong, but i thought the two front intake grate mounting bolts were only in the pump shoe, which isn't connected to any foam???? but i could be trippin'

The JSS ones are not much better than the hydro turf ones. a good OEM hood seal should last longer than 3 seasons when treated well. Mine is from 1996 and still works very well.

the green start button on my ski gets a little corroded/dirty every couple of months... it is real easy to check... remove the switch from the bars, remove the little screw holding the bracket holding the green switch, then unscrew the cap on the green switch. Be careful taking off the lid...

the instructions show the pole bolt being inserted from the opposite side you have inserted in... the instructions do show the bolt being installed opposite of stock. maybe that has something to do with the threads being on both sides... :dunno:

seems like the pole would lay flat if more of each tube were pulled down into the hull more... defiantly looks like the breather tubes are compressed to the maximum amount, thus not letting the pole lay flat.

On some SJ's I have encountered the ebox mounting nuts are 13mm and some are 12mm... Haven't found a pattern either. Seen both sizes on RN and SN.

you won't find one already made from a place like mcmaster (trust me, I've looked)... if it is M10 you could buy a protec bolt... they sell them untrimmed so you can cut it to length. it is a bolt rather than a stud, but it should work... only problem is they have a $25 minimum order fee. and...

this is the washer in question. it goes between the bendix and the cases... i accidentally put it on the front of the bendix once, and it rattle the crap out of the bedix and chewed up the teeth on my flywheel. Shot with PENTAX Optio A30 at 2009-03-03
