    701 Superjet Stock head modification

I'm not afraid to put my nads on the line. three thousandths can be taken of a stock head on a stock 61x cylinder and that will raise the compression to approx 185psi. :cool2:

    Project RiverRat II

This is what I cannot understand, why is it not a 'plop a motor in situation'? If I purchased an aftermarket hull/hood/bracket/pole, then it had damn well better be a plug in the motor build. As long as your are happy, that is all that matters. Good luck.

Girdled Head and Domes Does Not Work on Big Bore?

3 months with probably 50 gallons ran through the engine. I was only running 165 compression with .065 squish. I removed the base gasket this morning, which should give me another 20-30 psi and lower the squish for a bit more bottom end..

Girdled Head and Domes Does Not Work on Big Bore?

I'm currently running a 86mm flat top big bore with a girdled ADA head and 24cc domes. In fact, I just removed the base gasket this morning and sealed her back up, and the o-rings are still nice and purdy. Works with my engine.

    86.5mm Pistons?

What kind of sleves you running? Most big bores only go out to 86mm safely.

    help

Is that cooling set up correctly for a single setup? Should it not be: Inlet -> bottom exhaust manifold Head -> bottom of head pipe Top of head pipe -> stinger and tee'd out pisser. :dunno: Not saying it does not work, just the water routed differently than I have seen before.

    superjet surfboat

Wow, amazing... Can't wait to here how it rides.. I'm curious why you shortened it, when you do not like riding with the nose up (reason you said you didn't use the curved ride plate)? Shortened hulls will ride with the bow higher out of the water.

    Limiting downward pole travel

No, I mean aftermarket Aluminum pole, with after market bracket, and dual bolts that you can torque the hell out of. Like this. http://www.xmetalworks.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=5  You can have it as tight as you want it.

    Limiting downward pole travel

You need a really stiff pole. Some Guys i ride with ride with their poles so tight, you almost have to jump on them to get them down. same effect, easier on the hood.
