no. ceramic is not like powder coating. don't know what it is really, but it not the same.
before and after ceramic coating
pictures of chamber 1.5 years later. Lost a little of its brilliant shine, but resists water spotting quite well.
in addition, I've been told you could bend a crank rod if you put enough force on top of the piston. I've been told the 'ol rope trick is only for a last ditch effort on a race day.
Ventura Harbor is pretty much the same conditions of Oceanside. Minus the rarely windy part, and waves this last season or two have been crap. Where we ride a person can park their car out on the main road and make like a 1/4 walk to the beach.
just guessing here, but that extra space was probably there for oil injection setups, but the recess was probably left there and the hole covered on the non-injection models.
i've only been into yamahas for about 3 years, but I have never encountered a STOCK flywheel setup that utilizes a washer under the bolt. I've had my hands on about 20 yami engines in that time period.
Does your flywheel specifically call for the use of a washer?
you really only need just your toes in the foot straps... you should be able to easily remove your feet. just as easy as foot holds in my opinion.
take a look at some of the pics of Taylor Curtis on his skis, he only has the first 1/5 of his foot in the straps...
I have been told that you can use a rod to push it out if the bushing is not cracked.
The rod needs to be a precision match to the inside diameter of the bushing. Needs to be the tightest fit possible. You pour some engine oil down the bushing, then force the rod in the hole. The oil gets...
storage capacity it coming down in price.
less platters are better from what I know so take that into consideration when purchasing a drive.
i saw a deal the other day, two 1TB drives for $110 + shipping. Both were 3 platter designs.
yes, it will be only a slight upgrade...
keep in mind you must run each stator with it's matching flywheel.
62T flywheel with 62T stator
61X/6M6 flywheel with 61X/6M6 stator
no mismatching.
The 62T cdi will give you 500rpm more before hitting the rev limiter.
The stock 62T is slightly lighter in stock form compared to your current 6M6/61X flywheel.
When I installed my couplers, they were the only thing I changed on my boat, and I absolutely felt the difference. And, I didn't spend $100+.
The flywheel cover utilizes a o-ring as wydopen has stated. No gaskets are wasted when the cover needs to be removed.
haha... i feel ya.
BJ 46mm carb with some porting from Art. New top end. You'll feel some increase for sure.
My engine was tired when I rebuilt and it was a huge increase.
Any porting right now will take some time. you should find a stock bore cylinder, send it out for the bore/hone porting...
