Anybody have "best practice" approaches for how they tie up their buoys to an anchor? What kind of anchors are you using? Bricks, cinder blocks, iron weights, sandbags? Are you using a disconnect mechanism, like a carbiner or similar? How do you shorten/extend the length of the rope...

IMO, if your serious about having an ocean-quality ski, you would have to do the same type of upgrades to either a Superjet or an Octane so that is a wash. :bad: The only real difference I see is that Yamaha factory and a/m parts are readily available, while Polaris factory parts will...

I think the weight difference is negligible in the surf. It wasn't designed for wave jumping, so sure to secure the hood with straps and hook hood mods. Also, it would be best to reinforce the sides (like most people do with their Superjets and even B1s). I've done the one-way valve...
