Has anybody made their own adjustable cooling water restrictor for the bypass fittings or the stinger? I figure a decent hardware store might have the stuff to do something like this. Maybe out of brass fittings?
I got the TNT (whole pipe) that blasterboy1980 was pimping a few months back and put it on my Blaster: http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=71174&page=2
All in all, Michael was a good seller. He got me all the info that I needed up front. He did not mind me calling him a few times about...
That's a good one
The funny parts were as they were bagging on Jason after he walked out the door:lightning: Good for him, though, getting on TV.
I think Ami just did want to get near that "STOYER" on Jason's back 'cause its hideous:sneaky:
A screw fell off the a butterfly valve and f-ed up the engine. I just got it back together and I added some new :bling: and Ollie hooked me up with some trick studs for the electrical box :woot:
I wound up with one from Pro-tec and one from RogueJets and they are a little different externally. Besides the color, the nut on the red one is larger and the outer shell extends from the other direction.
Did Art change his design on these? Should I be aware of some techinical differences?
Less water to the waterbox by using the tee'd leg might work for some setups. Sending the straight leg to the waterbox gives more water and actually provides better top speed. Putting a FC-valve in between can give you a better scenario where you have less water at lower RPM's giving better...
Post #19 has some pics for you. A smaller bypass fitting is basically a restrictor. Anything with non-moving parts placed into the waterlines would be considered a restrictor. If it has moving parts, like springs or balls, then its a valve (which variably restricts).
