IMO, if your serious about having an ocean-quality ski, you would have to do the same type of upgrades to either a Superjet or an Octane so that is a wash. :bad:
The only real difference I see is that Yamaha factory and a/m parts are readily available, while Polaris factory parts will eventually become hard to come by, say in ten years or so and that although some Superjet stuff obviously fits onto an Octane, the engine and ignition stuff does not.
