A stand is a real good idea at the camp site. Soft bottom, but you couldn't really beach so they stayed put for long. At the cove near the public launch area across the way there is a nice beach to just pull up.

By the way, looking at the diagram reminds be..if you take the upper pipe off be sure to loosen the clamps (#40) on the inner hose by pulling back the outer rubber tube (#37). You'll tear the inner hose piece if you just try to pull it appart.

For sure there isn't any way to get it out without pulling either the manifold or the mouting bracket.
