    Registration Numbers?

I cant see how below the bond rail is a problem unless its below the water line. I figure they end up getting damaged/worn there though.

    Gelcoat vs. Paint?

Deep gouges i'd fill with epoxy+fairing filler, or marine tex. If they are very superficial you can use polyester gel coat repair which is a bit easier to sand.

    Lanier Camping

It was not *that* warm last year. I know I wore a wet suit the whole time, so must have been low 70's at best. It was IIRC a fairly overcast day though, so maybe 80 is the norm.

    701 starter troubles

The charger with only 10Amp may not supply enough current to spin it normally. When you connect with the battery are you using battery cables, both gound and pos?

    Fun stuff to tow?

If you want to diversify learn to slalom, nothing like it. If you were allowed with no spotter, pulling with a ski would be fine.

    HIN on FX-1

Yes the internal one is glued in, and not very well. If you still have it, do something before you loose that too. When mine fell off I happened to see it and I put it in the outside recess with rivets. You'll need to pull the electric box if you need to take a rubbing.

    Server move!!!!!

the 'zero' vs 'o' thing could be messing up your server switch if its hard coded some place.

    Pressure Test

yes use a "T". You might also want to put a valve in the line to the pump. (depending on the type of pump, you could have leakage out throught the pump seals)

    FX1 Build

I've not ridden with tubbies but I expect they help quite a lot if you are actually planning to race the thing. I raced the FX1 one time and it just wanted to drive straight under while turning round the bouys. (A problem I've never had riding solo..) I've retired from racing at least till I get...

    handpole spring install problem fx1

Blowsion has a Fx1 hood hook for the bracket ($25 extra).. Requires moving the latch on the hood back 1/2 inch or so by the way.. Also, mine is purple anodized. It looks good with the stock Fx1 colors but it surprised me they just sent it like that without giving a color option..

    handpole spring install problem fx1

Could it be upside down? The stock spring just has a straight end into the bracket. The Blowsion bracket will only work with a straight end 'cause it has to fit into a hole. In any case if the spring is too tight you can heat it and bend it a bit.

    Boat Saga....

No big deal to overlap pieces. Overlap a few inches. If you do several layers make the seams in differnet places. Oh I almost hate to say but one more spot to look for rot is the transom. Unfortunatley very hard to tell since you probably dont want to drill into it, but try tapping, looking for...

How do you re-tap/thread a hole?

I dont really have the picture of what bolt broke here..but anyway tapping aluminum is easy. If you are tapping threads into cast iron and you never used a tap before I'd sugest finding a scrap piece and practicing. You dont want the tap to snap on you like the ez-out did. Who names those things...

    Boat Saga....

I'd do a couple of layers for good measure. For that small an area the weight and cost shouldn't hold you back. Adding a little strength to it wont hurt you either. I'd also glass (or otherwise seal) both sides of the floor panel. Also take a hard look at the area under the mounts (see last...

Case damage....Is it okay to weld?

If you decide to try to repair it take a real hard look for cracks at the other mount points.
