Can someone tell me the pros/cons of running a handpole breather vs retaining the stock boot? I dont need a breather but on the other hand I dont want to spend an extra 25 on a bushing if there is no point to it. Is that breather hose all you need...

You want to give epoxy a good 24 hrs. Polyester sets much faster, which is the only thing its good for, you can throw on a quick patch and be back out in an hour or 2. Dont bother making it pretty though 'cause you'll be doing it again soon enough..

I'd personally stay away from a no-name. It may work fine, but any time the numbers look off you'll be wondering about the gage.

Do it way early (several months) There are ways to get it done last minute but they will really cost you..

The hardener discolors with age. According to West this isn't a problem at all unless you care about the color. In any case you can tell right away if you have old hardener if its pink its old and dark red is real old.

I suppose it would be good if straps were eassily removable so you could use or not depending on the situation. Threaded inserts, etc. Is that how they are generally installed?

good..theres other reasons besides work to keep it reasonably clean. I don't know how many friends/neighbors I sent to pwctoday. You really have to think twice before reccomending riot..
