I typed it incorrectly - I mean water getting into the motor WITHOUT a water box.... I was talking about using a scupper of some sort for the exhaust outlet to keep water from backing up through the exhaust into the motor.

so if water getting into the motor with a box is an issue, why wouldn't someone come up with a scupper valve style set up for this pipe? I'm sure someone can design something.

ouch bro!! put it out of your mind though.... two years ago i had a very bad landing on a flat water roll (helmet on) hit my bars and chipped my eye socket. it was really bad... but ya can't think about that stuff... just makes for good stories... LOL

Like I told my buddy last year - don't try to overthink it... lead with your head and your ass will follow. my buddy would spend so much time analyzing it, and thinking through the mechanics of it, that it would actually cause him choke at different spots of his rotation. clear your mind.

loosen up a bit... and don't hold on so tight. exactly... and more speed also helps give you more forward momentum (as well as amplitude). More forward momentum helps keep you from 'dropping out of the sky' on a big amplitude roll, especially of peaky waves.

Static Timing Advance with Dasa so counter clockwise to advance timing? I'm planning to go 2mm on my new motor build... Dasa ss 850pv with enhancer, b-pipe, and custom cut domes to 190psi. anyone running static timing advance on a Dasa, or is everyone running the ATP with programable timing...

cool. I'm running my current setup with OEM 44's - they work awesome when jetted properly.

well, after I get my new motor together, you are welcome to try my LPW ported 83.5mm cylinder (pistons etc), and ADA head with 33cc domes. Makes nice power... see if that's how you want to go... nice thing, it's easy bolt on power. Porting and an MSD enhancer will give you some increased power.
