Be sure to give John specific part numbers if possible when ordering if you are ordering the "T" handle screws. You should be able to use a Hot Products part number.
He sent me the wrong screws once.
If you're ordering his larger knob style screws, you should be good without a part number...

In my opinion, no do not build your first ski.
You need to get to know the skis first, then build one. You'll save a lot of head aches and frustration in the end.
Wow, that is mint, but pretty price as you mentioned.
I sold a very well set up limited square for that price.
Mine had a 62T engine, b pipe, RN handlepole, steering, ride plate, grate, bilge, pro-tec modified CDI, etc.
All water exits through the exhaust system.
The 93 650 SJ I purchased did not have a bypass fitting.
From what I know bypass fitting is used to either control cooling or to monitor that the engine is actually receiving water from the pump.
I live 10 mins away from ventura.
I personally wouldn't ride any ski that I did not go through and make sure everything is surf ready...
