Even my SXR with a TBM ride plate and a shortened pole will bounce a little when I put a full tank of gas in it. I prefer to ride it between 1/3 to 2/3 of gas.

50.X is pretty decent for a stock SXR with good acceleration.

The spring will not fit over the spacer. I have an extra spacer if you'd like to buy it.

If you're not pulling high RPM's constantly, I wouldn't worry about getting a big pin crank. Do some search for those Japanese X-2s and see what crazy cylinders they are putting in those.

FYI, a Yam 701 is Bore/Stroke 81mm x 68mm an SXR (781) is Bore/Stroke 82mm x 74mm

Paul, are there any gotchas with the 760 coil, like size where it might not fit into an SJ or B1 box? Would I be able to use MSD plug caps on that coil, or does it come with? Anyone have the Mitsubishi part No# for it?

Finding one that hasn't had the porting modified for racing is hard to do. If you can have a reputable builder visually inspect it and provide feedback on its potential for your application before buying it, I would.

The blaster backflip was cool. Don't see that very often.

Does this help? You can see that it comes in from pump into ex. manifold. One line out from head to small bypass in front. Other line from head to ex. header. (this has a fat T for routing to flush adapter) Lastly, the water leaving expansion chamber routes to bypass exit at rear.
