 holly shiot, I wont be following any sharks in my future, I think I will go the oposite way. Agressive little bastards huh.

Not so little.

Bear in mind that Bull Sharks are really wide sharks. If it was indeed a 9-footer, it had a mouth on it that could kill easy.

Bull Sharks are starting to become a real nuisance it seems.

AND, going to the shallows does not help. They are known to attack in knee-deep water regularly.

Makes you want to be strapped while you're skiing.

Good thing he/they weren't on stand-ups:bigeyes:

sjetrider . . . here I am

Well, you suggested I post more, so here I am. Sharks are nasty for sure, but I've had a close encounter with a barracuda while diving in Grand Cayman. The little bugger followed me for an hour shadowing my every mover. Then he suddenly appeared right in front of me and took a chunk out of my forearm when I began to swim away. Twenty-seven stitches later, I can vow that the nasty fellows have a foul set of teeth that can do some damage.

:purr:

I am not gonna ever feel sorry for someone who follows/approaches any kind of apex predator, especially one like a bull shark that is a more aggressive animal. Any animal that feels threatened or cornered will attack like that.

Never did like barracuda much when I dove. They always spooked me even more so than sharks. Now after your story, I realize I had cause to worry. Sharks of course scared me too. The sharks that I encountered during a dive seemed uninterested and swim on through. Barracudas would follow and hover above, if I made a move they would move. Very intimidating and scary.

Glad to see you posting JetKitten. :purr::purr:

 Holy smokes! I have seen only sword fish, dalphin and rays while riding in the ocean and really never worried about anything like this. After these stories.
I also agree this guy was an idiot to follow this shark (like he was the crock hunter or something).
