I'll take "Who is Momar" for 500, Alex.

The biggest flop I can remember Momar coming up with was how for months he preached the 800 SXR was going to be 2/3's of an Ultra 1200 engine. He really missed that one. His insider info was um... oustide! You guys ever look at his website?

    650SX and X2 build

Yep I got the "I need a second X2 for the girl" too problem. She still hasn't mastered it yet and keeps saying she needs a Sea Doo.... Sounds like I need a new girl. That PJS head if not pitted would be worth 75-125 in my opinion. I sold one that was pitted on one side for 50 bucks last...

    650SX and X2 build

That is an Ocean Pro bed plate. I have one just like it. There is one on eBay right now if you want to see what they sell for. The carb is probably a Keihin 42mm. Measure it where it bolts down to the manifold. I know for a fact it is a Keihin but it could be a 40 or 38 mm as well. The...

    Got billet?

I had to wait three months for a 1-1/8" version and then it showed up unpolished. I will never order from Roy, www.getrealperformance.com again! I should have called and complained but after being out 160 bucks for three months I was just happy to have finally gotten my steering. Looks like...

300/440/550 FPP Blaster Ltd chamber in X2 pics

Found the thread!! Thanks Project Ski. So did you ever try and fit the 750 Mod pipe? There is that guy in Europe on some other forum trying to fit one. Also do you have pics of where you modified the Wave Blaster pipe? I was thinking it wouldn't be all that hard to chop off the end of...

    300/440/550 factory pipe on a 750 x2?

I was at Professor's place a few weeks back and he pointed out to me how he had this Mariner 650 manifold. Well it sets the head pipe farteher out from the engine. Hence a FPP head pipe won't fit in his X2 with that manifold. Let me know how the 750 SX Mod pipe works, I am debating on...

what kind of CDI is this?

I have seen some WSM CDI's for Kawies that were blue with adjustable rev limiter knobs. Just my guess...

To fix or not to fix??

Didn't know you got hurt. I hope you heal up fast. There are a few on eBay but that usually means picking them up in person. Sorry I got rid of all my Spare X2 hulls.

    300/440/550 Lanyard hook up?

Sounds good. I am keeping one for my 440/550 style switch that i bought from Sweetemos on eBay. The other will just be an extra so it will need ot be resold. Nothing came in the mail today so it may be next week or the week after. Ron Ayers isn't the faster shipper. Sucks considering I...

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=korey_n_courtney&ftab=AllFeedback&myworld=true This is who I was talking about. They have all positive feedback and it says they are from CA but you know...... they were bidding/ssellign ski parts when I ran across this thread.

    300/440/550 factory pipe on a 750 x2?

Yeah I thought that the pipe looked different. I am used to seeing the 750 SX Mod FPP pipes that have the center bleed. I remember a post where Crab was asking about the different manifolds. Someone had a pic of a West Coast 650, FPP 800 Wet Pipe, and a FPP 750 Mod manifold. I ma not...

    300/440/550 Lanyard hook up?

I just ordered two front plates from Ron Ayers that have the lanyard hook up on them. Someone on PWCToday gave me the part number. Then they PM'd me the next day saying it was for a 440/550/750/800 style switch... Figures, wrong style. I will keep one but you are welcome to the other. I...

    650SX and X2 build

Yeah there are some goodies on those X2's. Looks like tow UMI steering steups from what I glanced. That old 400 is a collectors item too. I would clean and soprt out everything best you can then start eBaying. They have free listing fees for auctions starting under 10 bucks for like a month...

    No water box??

Since the exhaust goes out the back they may have put a through hull silencer in the ski. Just my guess. My friend's 650 SX with a bad bones and limited water is a lot louder than my X2 with a stock box and water setup.

    Mag pump pics inside.....come see!

Are the Yamaha pumps just a new stainless steel stator pressed into a machined out OEM housing? I know they used to do Kawies that way. Now they just make their own pump for the Kawie 750/800 all from stainless. It is purdy...

    Mag pump pics inside.....come see!

Fluids class... I actually took a class called Fluid Videos. The grad was based on attendance and all we did was watch movies for an hour a week on fluids. I think I should have brought in a DVD of some ski riding because those movies would just put most students to sleep. Is that a set...

Kicking around the idea of shortening my hull...

Search X2 Guy's posts on PWVToday. He had a piece on an X2 that set the pump back. I don't know what to tell you about the ride plate mounts. On all Kawies I have seen inside of they have a stainless steel nut epoxied to the hull. Well that nut rests inside the fiberglass. So unless you use...

    My New 1200 motor

What about skaters? I always rode BMX. Sorry Edwin, I couldn't resist. I guess it is because I own a quad, I have't really ridden it much lately and long for the day it is paid off so I can get another YZ250 two smoker....

Ripped a session in the flooded street at my house

That was cool. There was a big flood down the street from me a few months back. There were all kinds of people stopp scared to drive through the water. Well I had my X2 in the back of my truck thinking of doing what you did. I never unloaded it though since I was in a hurry to go somewhere...
