    Enginus Carnagus Maximus

My friend's old Kawie 650 SX did that because the ski sat around then he got it running. It destroyed the cases, cylinder, bed plate, starter, reed cage, crank, ect.. Well I thought it was pretty cool until the next year my X2 did the same thing from having too much water in the gas. Thos...

    Finally apart

You better just plan on a complete rebuild... I have done it myself but you really don't want to trust a 10-15+ year old crankshaft do you? You will know more once you pull the bottom end apart. I would say just get an SBT engine but... that is another story. Keep an eye out for a 750...

    Stuck screws

Try an impact type crew driver. It has a place where you hit it with a hammer and it then turns from the impact. They work great for getting stubborn screws out. When i put a new fuel door on my old 650 SX, the screws were like 5mm and stripped. So I drilled/tapped it for M6-1.00 ...

Anyone on here own an EME ski? (besides the man himself)

I was reading up on them again today and it says the 1000 is competition use only. Says on his site not to use it even for practice. I was wonderign what the rebuild schedule is on it?

    Motocross/MX of Nations live tv

I am planning on making the trek there to watch it live. I wussed out and didn't go to Mt. Morris aka High Point this year. I think it is only the second time in 15 years I have missed the races Memorial Day weekend. I just want to see RC and team USA kick but and win this year. With RC and...

    Need advice on CO2 trim.

I was searching for pneumatic linear actuators but wasn't finding much. I am going to ask a few engineers here at my factory if they have any catalogues or companies in mind. I remember RPOT sold a hydraulic trim system. It just used a magura lever. Not too sure where you would get the...

    wet and dry suits

Do the gloves zip onto the suit too? I was jet sking this weekend and my hands got cold quick. I was wearing some MX style gloves. To me a dry suit is the way to go! I wonder how well those neoprene head/ski mask things work? Like what divers wear.

    Game over

Hey there was a Kawie X2 bendix on eBay cheap. Like 5 bucks with a few days left. Looked liek a decent one to me. Search for it using "Kawasaki X2". Not mine just looking for X2 parts for myself and thought of you.

The black hole inside my ski.

I have a good one... negative terminal came loose on my X2 on the last ride. Good thing I never shut it off or I would have been swimming. It wouldn't start when I took it out of the lake to blow the water out of it. I got lucky and found the little battery terminal nut. The battery bolt...

a loop in the bilge line?good or bad?

X2's are known to take on water. Well the past few times out riding, I noticed mine listing pretty bad after siting in the water BSing with some friends on boats or couches. Well I figured it was a leaking drive shaft seal. So I investigated... no leak while I had it near the shore and the...

a loop in the bilge line?good or bad?

So would anyone buy a billet bilge pump? I am seriously baffled that no one has at least CNC's soem billet strainers. Those crappy Rule's always break the fingers off when the plastic gets brittle. Same happens to the hose barb then that ruins the pump completely. My dual Rule 500's used...

Does any body have This Video? Jet Dreams

Well Nick, I actually did! Like a ten dolar bill even! Got some change back too. lol I am way behind on videos. Back when I rode BMX, I had about everyone made. Friends would always do the double VCR trick and copy them.

Does any body have This Video? Jet Dreams

I recently bought Twangled for 13 bucks new at a local shop. They also had Malone's Twisted. I am anti Malone now so I didn't want to spend my hard earned cash on it. Anyways, if someone would pay the shipping, I would mail it to them to make into a digital format. Right now it is on a...

My Sunday, and the two hot blondes....

I was always told: "You can't make up what you pass up!" One a recent business trip the boss say chack out that girl... I say ah she is nothing special. He says I am older than you, my standards are lower! My friend always calls girls like that Two Tint B!tches. You know you are driving...

The black hole inside my ski.

I found a nice Craftsman 10 mm open end/box end wrench one time in an X2 I was parting out. Original owner must not have been educated about the black hole. Epoxy down a magnet in the rear near the stock bilge pump. Next time you have the engine out, you are sure to find it there. That is...

    Game over

I have rebuilt a few of them in my day. If you have enough of them for spare parts you can make a decent one. A lot of times they just rust up and get seized. Nothing a good cleaning won't fix. Don't buy an aftermarket one! They are just like starters... JUNK! Stick to OEM.

    specific dakine footstrap install question

I used some Hull Insert that Hot Products sells on my X2. I just drilled a hole a little smaller than the insert. Then I used a dremel with a weird looking cutter bit lowered down into the hole to hog out some of the foam below the deck/tray/fiberglass. I mixed up some JB Weld and put it into...

Am I crazy to pass up this SXr....

Buy it, rob the parts you want, then resell it. Or part it out... I bought an X2 once just for the FPP it had. I made way more than what I paid for it plus kept some parts to boot that more than paid for it. Then again, it isn't the ski parts selller's season right now. Can you sit on the...
