300/440/550 factory pipe on a 750 x2?

thanks crab, i did see there was a westcoast exhaust manifold fitted there..... im currently trying to get my hands on one to see if thats the answer.

i see the exhaust that wax has fitted on the yellow boat, it looks stock, and thats what im after, the only difference between my centre bleed and his chamber is that his exits out the end of the chamber.....

does anyone know how i can get a hold of waxhead???

you can pm me like you did

hahaha

ok that is an early mod chamber for a 750 and yes at that time it did go straight out the ack and it was loud loud loud i tell you

we then put a 18 degree bend at the end of the pipe and took it up to an hx water box up the front and then back down
it was awsome after that

its not a centre bleed pipe and i am not sure you could get one of those to fit that well

this ski is an absolute missle

its the fastest x2 i have evenr ridden in my life

hi wax,

im sort of hoping the westcoast manifold has a different angle to the factory pipe exhaust manifold, and the stock 650 manifold.

did you ever try fitting the stock manifold with that expansion chamber??

i have fitted a 550 fuel tank to give me clearance for the expansion chamber around the front of the engine, and was hoping to keep that in there cause it looks great.
i have blaster 1 chamber and superjet chamber...... and westcoast 650 exhaust, so im not short of options to get me engine running---- just trying to get this one sorted as my preferred option.

Yeah I thought that the pipe looked different. I am used to seeing the 750 SX Mod FPP pipes that have the center bleed.

I remember a post where Crab was asking about the different manifolds. Someone had a pic of a West Coast 650, FPP 800 Wet Pipe, and a FPP 750 Mod manifold.

I ma not sure wether or not the manifold helps or hurts the problem of fitment.

Finally I am liking the idea of the FPP Wave Blaster Limited chamber. There is someone on here with one in an X2.

BIG Pipes = BIG power... just my theory

here is a pic off a pjs 650 manafold next to a 750 fpp pipe limited manafold and you can see the diffrent angle on the 750 one from the 650 one . im going to be trying the 750 limited chamber in y x2 soon withe the 650 manafold . im also going to get brand new complete 750 mod pipe set up soon that i found in my local shop that has been sitting in there for a few years cheap

I was at Professor's place a few weeks back and he pointed out to me how he had this Mariner 650 manifold. Well it sets the head pipe farteher out from the engine. Hence a FPP head pipe won't fit in his X2 with that manifold.

Let me know how the 750 SX Mod pipe works, I am debating on buying one.

I have a FPP Kawie 650 pipe but now i ma thinking I need to swap over to a FPP Yamaha head pipe since the opening is bigger.

THe centerbleed chamber needs a piece welded to it to make it work. You will also have to fab a custom lord mount. I have some pictures of differnt pipes in an x2. Just search the old school section. THey are proably posted in march or april
