I have had pretty good luck using epoxy mixed with cabosil for repairing those.

Old tech is not always bad tech, points worked just fine for many years before CDI came out, sometimes making things so complex that no one can work on them is not the answer.

To me it would make a lot of sense if someone came up with a plug and play brain for these MSD setups, there is no telling how many of them are out there. I was hoping that was going to be the case with the Zeeltronics setups but those don't work with MSD pickups.

You would have to remove the pump housing and get the numbers off the impeller, if it's a stock impeller there may no be any numbers on it

In a perfect the shafts would all be aligned perfect and happily spin away into Jetski bliss , but this ain't no perfect world , I would rather people buy the alignment tools and get it close than not check it at all which is what usually happens.

I have the Weeks Brothers tool, I do know on that tool there is the same amount of clearance on the bolt holes as a stock midshaft, as for the cold fusion tool , I can't say I have never had my hands on one.
