Yep I am about to order a 6" one for my 3D, the way things have been going lately I am going to need that ski running sooner than later.

What's the size of the hole in the tank, outside to outside on opposing bolts and maybe add a little wiggle room at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch. There are a bunch of Aluminum disc on Ebay fairly cheap, 1/8 " thickness should do nicely.

Usually I used OEM or used OEM, I haven't tried any of the SBT reeds so I can't comment on them

I always take a screwdriver and scribe a line across the starter halves on both ends , it makes reassembly a lot easier.

The test is simple enough , pull the flame arrestors off, fire it up and hold your hand about an inch away from the top of the carb, rev it up, if you feel any pressure coming up though the carb the reeds are bad.
