    650sx rebuild and restoration.

Dropped of one 650SX at the lake and picked up his other one, apparently it's 650SX season here, for some reason these things usually come in threes, first three GPR 800s back to back, now three 650SX's back to back.. Bonus pic is of an Elmoron in his natural habitat at the ATM in Wetumpka, AL...

Have you or have you thought about making your own Hull?

More like Jim Fyfe, the voice of Auburn football . Touchdown Auburnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, One more thing in his quest to go scorched Earth on Sparkplug HarryConnolly apparently missed the point , when Sparkplug said read read read I believe he was referring to the massive amount of...

    Oem yamaha fuel line ?

Yeah that looks to be $3.47 per running ft. not that bad pricewise. The thrust engineering fuel line is $7.99 per ft, so this is half as cheap already. I guess you just need to buy it in bulk , cut it into nine 10ft sections and resell it. I found it at Leaders RPM for $340.34 plus...

Have you or have you thought about making your own Hull?

Sparkplug is being abrasive, no doubt about that, however you following suit and going scorched earth isn't helping your case here, there it is , two cents worth. That being said if you really want to get your hands dirty find a damaged aftermarket hull and repair that, this way you will learn...

Have you or have you thought about making your own Hull?

My take is if you want to do it just do it and don't give two damns what anyone else thinks, that's always worked for me . No one person here knows everything but the sheer amount of combined knowledge stored here for you to read and look at is immeasurable , you get the benefit of learning...

    650sx rebuild and restoration.

Mats are all done and came out pretty well , I still have some glue cleanup to do. While I had the DAP weldwood and a brush out I cleaned up all the stock pads and tank supports and glued them back down, it is now ready for the new fuel filler neck to be installed and yes it still has the...

    SXR1500 freestyle build

Anytime . most likely the other one will use a Seadoo pickup like Dan did so I can have a working fuel gauge, it's going on an LRV carb conversion that I am probably keeping. On the next one I want to retain a fuel gauge so I am using a stock Seadoo pickup and I will have someone weld one of...

    SXR1500 freestyle build

I hope I am not intruding on your thread but this is what I came up with for the 3D 951 conversion.. Thats a KAWI SS-XI-STS-Seacouch pickup I am using , I like it because it is low profile and these run fairly decent size fuel hoses, the 951's use 5/16 inlets and 1/4 return hoses, it mounts...

Have you or have you thought about making your own Hull?

I wouldn't go nearly that far , it's a different skill set for sure but neither is rocket science.

Have you or have you thought about making your own Hull?

Cool yeah , maybe , expensive definatly, time consuming, you have no idea what you are setting yourself up for here. One more thing composites has a pretty steep learning curve , most people learn about composites by doing small repairs then making larger modifications to existing hulls, when...

    787 super jet

That is a Seadoo XP - HX- 3D driveshaft coupler setup, I am pretty sure those were splined couplers though, not threaded . That being said alignment is going to be critical if it is screwed to that driveshaft maybe he had the Superjet driveshaft cut for splines.

    SXR1500 freestyle build

If you are going to do that maybe just use 90 degree hose barbs and these on the bottom with in-tank drop tubes and clunk pickups, sandwiching the 1/8 "plate between the two if you get what I am saying, tap the plate install the straight fitting onto the 90 degree fitting and attach hose and...

    Kawasaki 650sx and impellers

The spline length is shallower on a 750 impeller it requires machine work to the back of the impeller to get it to fit a 650 pump. The driveshaft will bottom out in the impeller before the holes for the pump will line up. I don't remember the specs but the impeller has to be set back in the...
