Are the intake grate bolts in front of the bulkhead?

Chad tried that shaft in his build, the bulkhead ends up being over the intake duct. You might want to check with Chad and save urself some time

well the gp1200/gp800 shaft is about 1inch shorter but the splines are set farther in it than a sj so u would have to move the firewall back over 2 inches to get it to fit on the splines properly

They didn't assign u vin numbers?, there's no vin on the registration?

The bulkhead doesnt need the recess for the bearing. We did the same thing on the octane build and it was never an issue, it sealed very well.
