Yup... you need to come ride. @ScottS Has a nice B Chan setup for you to compare notes and check out. Knowing him thus far he probably has 10 ride plates ( exaggeration ) for the B Chan and would have no problem letting you try some to see what works for you.

Did you drill pilot holes? 3 layers of tape and 3 step pilot holes is what I plan on doing after seeing yours.

Could a super jet waterbox fit? I know stock Yamaha box is about as good as it gets. I am hoping the one from my FX1 fits

Have you tried a muffle bearing yet? When you say loud is it out the pipe loud or in the hull loud. I would think some kind of foam installed in the nose and empty space around the water box would absorb some of it. What gas tank are you running?

Most Everyone cuts those things off from what I've seen.

Love the gas tank!! How thick is the firewall? I Planed on mounting my bilge and primer thru it. Where and how did you mount your Ebox?
