I have done a lot of things in life and it seems to me a lot of people like me have landed here and will finish out their lives in this sport. I grew up skateboarding vert ( all most pro ) motoX, jet skiing, surfing or any other thing that was an adrenaline high. It seems most in this sport are...
No. That bloke lives Down Under. That is my ski in my avatar. I really liked the color scheme of his ski so now there is going to be a twin in the US. We cannot let the OZ"s have the best looking ski you know. My pole is going to have 1 blue tube and 1 black tube so it will be a little...
In all seriousness thank you Kawasaki for trying!
In the Spirit of this fine election season.... You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.
Seeing a person ride the ski confirms my thoughts.
That pipe looks sick! I plan on spray painting my bilge pumps black so they blend in better. With that much rocker in the nose and the water box and pole meeting right there it's going to be hard to get them down. That's the worst when you lose your ski and it's upside down. Maybe when it flips...
^^^ I would not say it's hate as much as it is disappointment. Are we not suppose to give our true opinion? Kawi built a stand up that will fail as it has one use, going fast. Think of the yacht you would need to throw a wake to jump that thing. Free Riding on that thing has no chance IMO.
Always wondered what hitting a 6ft cresting wave at 70 MPH would feel like ! Is there a parachute option? Would be fun to wear your " do they still make those lifejackets " as you blow buy couches .
My whole point wasn't about speed and power. With a 701 in the engine compartment you would have more room for your beer cooler, folding tent/chair and gas grill. Can't wait to get mine so I can put an aluminum arch with some rod holders and a sun shade for some offshore trolling. Real men fish...
Need some extra deep water for nose stabs. They should of named it the SXR 2D. Might make a good hull if you took out the 4 banger and put a 701 in it.
Better make sure the park is going to be open. With the path of the storm Standard OP would have the park evacuating a day or so before a major hurricane locks it path. Cat 3 + is no joke
Water will probably be coming in faster than the pump is pumping it out. You would end up with a = neutral flow if it ever got to that point but I would bet it would always be + factor on the water coming in. A = flow would be a good thing as the pump is not strong enough to create a + vacuum...
^^^^ Low pro bilge would be the way to go as they can be secured much better than a standard base mount. You would need to find the right bracket, adhesive and worm clamps and you would be good. I would plum it right out the side of the hood and the battery cable would just be a necessary evil...
I noticed a ski this past weekend flip upside down then surf its way towards the shore some 200 feet away from the rider. Good news is I was there to go save it and flip it over! Bad news is it took on some ( lots ) of water and could not start and had to be towed in. Maybe I am over thinking...
