I just can`t cut into my Freak unless it was absolutely necessary and luckily so far its not. Why not just seal up the tray air floats? I removed motor, ebox, rideplate etc tipped ski on its nose and using my backflush lines that plug into the pissers I completely filled the tray with water...
I had an experience with a nearly new MSD Enhancer that had intermittent spark issues that a buddy just gave to me in frustration. I installed it and it worked for about 2 rides then ski wouldn't start. Hmmmm ??? I removed ebox and split apart but didn't unplug anything. After removing screws...
I did not explain well enough, I meant 2 parallel # 14s from stator to inside ebox grounded both ends. (2 parallel grounds tying end to end) A 6 gauge or larger #4 has to go from Negative battery post (black) to Starter bolt as any motor would require right? And positive lead from battery...
Should have mentioned the ignition has not been modified it came this way from England . All the battery cables are standard Yamaha hookups and it works well. Only hiccups I have had is when the battery gets a little low on voltage and you helped me with this some time back Boyer Thanks
Start with a 140m at least . 3 turns out use 50/50 race gas BE PATIENT good luck with 100%pump those 94mm pistons melt quickly.2K elevation you may be ok ?? Ask Art!!
I prefer surf suits they are much warmer . Rip Curl 3/2 front entry nice suit cheap oneil 4/3 under 200 bucks is toasty on chilly days back zippers dont hold up well though. Jetski suits look good are useful for racing but are not cost effective imo as they all wear out quickly if you use...
Oceanside harbor on saturday morning 7-8am is always good to meet the local Oside crew this Saturday may be triple overhead but stormy and blownout may skip this weekend . We ride buoys on some Sundays at 10am in Long Beach or Belmont Shore , Ocean x Granada . Also buoys in Mission Bay...
My problem when i have sunk my ski is because its a major wipeout. It gets ripped from my hands all hell breaks loose i hold my breath for survival and the ski is usually gone and oh boy here comes another set, so breathing air is my priority not pulling a ripcord realistically there is no time...
^ I had a mach II pipe and only 1 hole would line up with a 62t head . The ada bracket should line up 1 hole also i think providing its a little lower and you could shim with a washer.
Pool noodles work at in salt water. I have completely sunk my superfreak badass 5 or 6 times. last time my buddy lost it at Pismo freeride on a Big nasty day. I have the tray sealed almost airtight and have pool noodles (everywhere) possible. stuffed under the carbs , under the bpipe , in...
IMO its just personal preference on the length, sliding down a big face a long pole helps me lean back I`m old and my back hurts just looking at a flatwater ski lol . I have broke several SXR poles they tear like a phone book . A properly reinforced SJ pole has been used in the surf for many...
Try ski works composites on Facebook . They are a work of Carbon fibre art I just replaced my Blowsion pole with one of his old style poles and its half the weight. I love It .....
