Ocean- Mission Bay is nice and they set up buoys there most Sundays year round if your into Racing and Oceanside is 45 minutes north for surf riding if you like.
MX you have Pala and Cahuilla creek are 2 tracks local to the area . Jump on a freeway and I`m sure you can find what your looking for.
Me Too. My Badass has alot of scratches and nicks in the paint I am interested in a wrap for the top deck only the bottom i will spray black some more I suppose . Any ideas ?? I wanna keep it bright, high viz yellow the Titan wraps are kinda cool
IMO a bilge pump is mandatory for surf . The surf may be big (hopefully not windy) and a motocross type helmet can be more dangerous , its alot harder to swim, body surf. duck waves with a big helmet . Chances of losing your grip of your ski in large surf is higher a light weight freeride or...
Personal preference , I have a carbon full size Badass with a long handlepole , Tem tried to talk me into going shorter but I dont regret it being so long with 4 various sized rideplates the ski is very versatile . I have ridden it in very VERY large surf and the light weight has not been...
In 2014 I installed a new Hx3 and was not informed it was not compatible with a TBM flywheel . It ran fine for 9 months then no spark, during that time I had to run resistor caps and plugs or a plug would foul in 1 tank of fuel ??? I now run a Flame on the same engine exactly as directed from...
The 2004+ on an SXR is different. The tiny and i mean small prongs corrode inside the igniter (cdi) and if you gently wiggle them mine just broke off then your only option at this point is a new igniter (cdi) thingy. Oem is over 500$ I put one i found on ebay from Belgium 180$+ in took a...
If its a 2004 or newer I chased an electrical issue to the plug for the cdi Igniter inside the ebox . There are several tiny little prongs that corrode and break off causing electrical problems that can be intermittent annoying and hard to diagnose . Somewhat common from saltwater use
I am . Runs real good no problems at all 10 months, big fat spark been sunk twice engine starts within drying plugs out quickly . running 2 of ATPs curves on a switch not a noticeable difference between them engine just runs hard for what it is . looking foreward to trying it in a stroker...
Same thing happened to me too I am now searching for an OEM cdi igniter I tried one of those chinese Venon aftermarket CDIs on ebay but made the ski very hard to start. I dont blame the CDI but think it didnt like my TBM total loss flywheel any body got an oem cdi ? 2004+ try parts...
I agree Joey Estero beach is very nice, jetski paradise but may not fit most people and Pismo is a tradition but Mexico came before ahh I dont care wherever is fine. Lets plan both !!! I think i will plan on Pismo in October 23-25 and will go back to Estero anytime too Lets Ride
Hope you find a way to insulate the stainless from touching the Carbon (wrap with elctrical tape) Or ???? something to stop the electrical phenomenon. Tubes dont rot away near as quick in a fibreglass hull
I have many hours exclusively in salt water and In less than 1 year my full Carbon Freak sprung a leak in the tray . I have not opened the tray but simply used a long 3/8inch drill bit used for adding second cooling line (a kit used years ago) drilled from pump area straight thru on both sides...
