Harry Klemm of Group K offers a big bore 850 setup calls it a sleep kit and has done them for along time there’s good info on his website too. It’s Not cheap. Good luck I would suggest buying a RTR motor used you see them often here and save yourself some $ good machine work gets expensive. Or...
Not sure if anyone rides here much anymore best bet is a Sunday morning 10am but I would be surprised. Text Joe the original poster or just bring a beach tote and drag your ski down there on a Sunday morning and let us know if anyone was down there.
A little off topic but I used the Rhaas kit in my pro force set up for a Kawi triple and it was easy to install a Yamaha engine. I have a TNT V3 exhaust that is slightly modded for racing and everything fits great.I can change out a motor in 2 hours taking my time. I would think the sit down...
I know this is true in alot of trades and I have seen it myself at utilities I have worked at years ago but it’s no different than HR departments protecting sacks of chit . You can’t just tell somebody they are worthless and need to find another line of work without being nice and documenting...
My advice to you is Go West Young Man. If you are ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE you want to be a Lineman go to a state that you can get into a Union apprenticeship. IBEW JATC That’s were the money is retirement, benefits, high wages etc etc. I have worked with many guys from all over the country and...
Me Too , I’ve had a long career never got laid off Always been busy answered the phone in the middle of the night go get that double bubble working all night weekends call outs whatever. Mostly scheduled overtime the last 10 years or so now I just work 5-10s No Weekends anymore I’m on the way...
It should have a stamping on the outside or maybe its on the inside? Take the prop off and look. I have a 18ft open bow ski/family type with a 4.3L V6 Volvo Penta SX drive and I use a cheap aluminum Solas 4blade 15`` pitch and use the boat for wake boarding and skiing and the 15 pitch gives me...
Thats the same setup I have in my Proforce a TNT V3 with a slightly different stinger for topend and TNT waterbox. I have ran this with many different motor combos, carbs ignitions, etc and have stuck a few pistons due to detonation also. It has a strong midrange and I like it going from buoy to...
What kind of battery are you running ? Are you running a bilge full time? I can ride at least 2 tanks easily more if necesary But I usually put it on a specific charger that’s turns off automatically and charges quick costs about 50$ To be safe but the zeel uses very little unless your...
If you have all the 760 stuff already go zeeltronic total loss and lighten your flywheel and you would have a superior setup. You can still get a couple long rides with a good battery and keeping it charged is not that big of a deal I don’t think.
I used short stainless timeserts to fix my carbon badass motor mounts as the aluminum glassed into the hull stripped out quickly and the stainless seems to hold up well especially in salt water. I`m sure the timeserts would work good with oem brass too and alot easier than glass work.
I was down there yesterday afternoon and it was open and quite crowded on the beach and parking lot you would`nt know there was a pandemic. I was in OC for work and I felt like taking a ride through the old neighborhood and my old stomping grounds at Granada as I moved out of Cali over a year...
Actually now I`m not sure but after looking back at there website it seems Nikasil is the same as nickel silicon carbide. Hmmm I thought i was told you cant nikasil steel sleeves thats why I thought it was a different process. Now I want to know maybe I can call them tomorrow and ask? Or...
It was about 375$ + shipping not cheap but worth it IMO. It looks like any other good bore job cross hatch etc. they overbore it apply the plating then bore it back to 84mm exactly as I did not supply any pistons and intend to run Wossners. The bore is smoother than usual and the whole thing...
