Didn't poke the wiring, just hitting different terminals and such... I uncovered a rookie mistake, I had the brown(or is it red? my stuff very discolored) from the stator connected to the brown from the solenoid, as a result the brown from the starter switch was connected to the MSD, changed...

I am piecing my ski back together after a build and have no cranking action. I poked around with a test light and I have power up at the handle pole switch and my ebox appears to be grounded (at least the screws and bolts that hold it together at least) Doesn't the solonoid get it's ground from...

Where can I get them ?

It surprises me no one makes a longer one? Also - out of curosity, do 0 degree pissers still exist ? Those seem hard to come by lately as well.

Anyone have a solution for this ? See pics. Unfortunately my ski was drilled in the exact wrong spot to get a nut on the backside of the pisser to hold it in place.

What's the skinny on good sealed batteries this spring ? Any deals out there ? Needed for SJ and and FX1. Remember years ago a thread about some knockoff's of the Deka's that were pretty good. Can't seem to locate it though???

Yes plastic shoe. I've never seen one come out in one piece. Only reason to remove it is painting though I suppose. Hence the reason I'm out 100 some $ and replacing mine, broke it trying to get it off.

5200 awfully permanent... if ever I want to get it off I don't want to break it trying. Sheet metal screw makes sense, the holes are pretty small.

Can someone help me, what size and length screw / nut hold the pump shoe to the ski on super jet? Putting back together after a few years of sitting in pieces, it appears I'm missing some parts ! Also, what do you like to use to glue pump shoe in place that may allow for harmless removal someday?

anyone know the thread size on the end of that steer cable btw? edit: appears to be M5-.80 for future reference. Mcmastercarr doesn't show anything... will have to call in the am.

yup, not sure how one would reverse it, the waterproof threaded connector wouldn't go in the ski if in backwards. Thought about finding a threaded rod that size and a coupler nut... any idea where to source those in stainless? Cable is actually in good shape despite that bit of plastic that is...

Sealed or not sealed, we all know at some point that Ebox is going to get some moisture in it. I guess I keep flaming MSD, maybe send a link to this thread next. Curious though - Does anyone else make a similar product ?

Still works to my knowledge. Ski has been apart for a while now during the rebuild process.... Worried moisture is going to take it out though. Sealed it back up with some "goop" for now. Not alot of other options if MSD won't man up.

Anyone have this happen to an MSD rev Enhancer ? Called them today and emailed pics. They weren't willing to cover.... Real cool MSD. Who else makes something for next time, I think I am done giving MSD my $.

Check the pic... Pry'ed the seals out and it made sense. Now everyone knows for future reference.
